Why expressing myself in writing is important to me

It is very important to me to be able to express myself well in writing. I am typically a shy person that won’t talk much in class so I tend to express myself more in writing. Writing is a way for me to vent, a way to get all of my thoughts out without having to say them out loud or to any one else. It is important to be able to express yourself well in writing because you will some time or another have to communicate with someone through the internet/writing and if you are not good at it then people will not understand what you are trying to say or your writing will be misinterpreted. I would like to be able to be a proficient writer in the future because I belief it will make life easier and easier to communicate with others since now a days we are relying a lot on writing instead of spoken word.
